While thinking about my mother, Dolores Simmons, who died in 1993, I saw an image of a woman holding a little bird in her hand. Although, she didn’t look like my mother, for some reason, I felt that this image was about my mother. Then I remembered Mama standing at the kitchen sink washing dishes and singing the gospel song – His Eye Is on the Sparrow (and I know He Watches over me….).
I’d like to believe that this image came from my mother. She would have been 86 on October 11th.
